NYC Urbans is an independent corporation established in New York. It is not a city agency and it does not speak for one: it is a private company that works alongside institutions, and also on its own initiative, on the quality of public space.

We operate through public concessions with New York City agencies, and through collaborations with private organizations, non-profits and neighborhood groups. Both paths matter to us: a tree planted, a bench installed, a space cleaned and looked after are worth the same whether they come from a concession or from a private initiative.
